Catch Up

A lot has been going on around here lately! We just got back from being gone for a month. While your dad was in Portland, OR you, me and Gavin headed to San Diego, CA for a week on the beach with Grandma and Grandpa Gerber and all your aunts, uncles and cousins. You loved the sand, and had lots of fun there. We then headed back to Medford to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Merrill for the remaining month of June while dad was in Portland.


So, just before we left you started crawling. Well, you were crawling for almost a month before we left....so about 8 months you started. While we were at Grandma and Grandpa Merrill's house you learned to crawl up the stairs. Crazy! You are growing up so fast! 

You love your dad and whenever he comes home from work you crawl over to him with a big grin and he picks you up and you lay your head on his shoulder. It is so cute!

You want to do whatever Gavin is doing. You love to play with his toys and most of the time he lets you. :)

I love hearing you wake up in the morning and waking up from your naps. You usually are just talking away and when I come in you give me a big smile and snuggle up to me.

You have two little teeth now. They are still coming in. You probably got your first one at about 8 1/2 months. 

I can't get enough of you. I love your chubby little baby legs and your bright eyes. I love snuggling you and sometimes wish you could stay my little baby forever. You are the sweetest little thing.

So, that scratch on your nose.......well, you fell down the stairs....all 13 of them. I put you down and I turned away for just a couple seconds and you were gone. I was so scared, but you were okay. Just a good rug burn on the nose. I felt horrible.....so glad you were okay. (These pictures of you in your swimsuit are taken at Hinckley Lake in Cleveland. We went there on Memorial day with some friends. )

7 Month Old Beauty

Your Uncle Phil and Aunt Corinne stayed with us a few weeks ago on their way to North Carolina. Corinne just graduated in photography and took these beautiful pictures of you. So glad she could capture your cute personality. You are about 7 months old in these photos. 

Me and You

I love these pictures of  us. Such a happy, happy baby. I am one lucky mama, and love, love, love you sweet little Ruby. 

6 Months

We had your 6 month check up today. You weight 16 lb. 4 oz. and are 26 inches long, and your head is 16 cm. You are in the 50% for your weight and head size, and 75% for your height. You are moving more these days. Rolling over once in a while, but not all the time. You are scooting backwards a lot, and you get frustrated because you can't get what is right in front of you. It's pretty cute to watch. You like blowing bubbles and giving big smiles. You are eating baby food most days. Not a whole lot yet, but a little here and there. You are the cutest little thing.
