Blessing Day

You were blessed on November 26, 2011 . We went to Utah for Thanksgiving, and Grandma and Grandpa Merrill were visiting your great Grandma Merrill for Thanksgiving along with Uncle Phil and Aunt Corinne. We blessed you at Grandpa and Grandpa Gerber's house. It was so nice to have most of our family there for the blessing. Your Dad gave you a beautiful blessing, and you looked so pretty in your dress. Your great aunt Nora made your dress, and your great aunt Karen gave you the headband. 

Your cousin Mia, who is just three weeks younger than you, was also blessed that day. It was such a wonderful day. Now for the cute photos.

4 Months Stats

You had your four month check up today weighing in at 13 lbs(50%tile), 25 inches (90%tile), and your head circumference 15 inches (25%tile). You are one tall girl! You got three shots today, and are now up in bed sleeping them off. It's so sad to see you get your little shots, but I sure do love when we come home and you take nice big long naps ;).

My Favorite

You are sleeping right now in your car seat. We were over at a friends house today learning how to make cute little bows and flowers to adorn your little head. Now, you are worn out and are taking a big snooze. 

Last night while your Dad was giving Gavin a bath I was getting you all jammied up and ready for bed. This is probably one of my most favorite times of the day. I just love it when you lay there and smile at me, kicking those arms and legs like crazy. I love giving you kisses and making you giggle. I could do it forever. It is my favorite. Then we turn off the lights and I feed you one last time before wrapping you up tight in your blankie, and singing you a few songs. Your eyes slowing close and you are asleep for the night (mmm...I love how you sleep through the night). I love watching you grow, but sometimes I wish you could be my sweet little baby forever. Soon you will be crawling, then walking, then talking and playing with your big brother. I can't believe how fast time goes. I want to savor your littleness forever. I love you sweet Ruby and always will.

3 Months

I can't believe you are already passing the 3 month mark. You are growing up so quickly.....I want you to stay my sweet little baby forever (okay, not really, but you are going to be all grown up before I know it). You truly are a good, good baby. You are always so content and calm. You love to give me big smiles, and the past couple days you have started to laugh....it makes my day. You go to bed around 7 pm and don't wake up until 5:30 to eat and then go right back to sleep until 7:30-8. You are an awesome sleeper! You have recently found your little hand and love to suck on it any chance you get. Gavin loves you, and is very protective of you. He doesn't like it when other people want to touch you or hold you.....it's cute. He likes to help me out and get your blanket, or burp cloth for you. I can't wait to see you guys play together as you get older.

2 Months Old

Today you had your two month  check up weighing in at 10 lbs. 5 ounces and 22 inches long. You are in the 50-75 percentile. You just keep growing bigger and bigger every day. You are smiling lots now and making cute little sounds. I just love snuggling you any moment I get. You are such a content little baby and I can't get enough of you.

1 Month Stats

At your one month check up you weighed 8 lbs. 5 ounces and were 21 inches long. You are a growing girl!
